Threads of Heritage

As the global fashion industry evolves, finding the delicate balance between honoring heritage and being culturally sensitive becomes increasingly critical. Threads of Heritage explores AI's role in this space. Using tools like ChatGPT-4, Gab AI, and Midjourney, the project critically analyzes and captures the process behind the creation of a brand inspired by the rich cultural and artisanal heritage of my country, Colombia.

This project sheds light on AI’s challenges in capturing nuance and meeting ethical design standards. It explores prompt tuning, underlying structural biases, coherence, and cultural understanding through brand identity, and image generation. Ultimately, examining how the human-machine collaboration can create fashion that honors tradition.
